Colato Finance

Terms of Service

Colato Finance, operated by Colato Corp, El Salvador. Last updated: 21 October 2026. Contact: gcolato@colatocorp.com

By creating an account or using Colato Finance you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Colato Finance is a personal budgeting tool: it stores the expenses, categories, limits and goals you enter, and, if you choose, reads emails from senders you list to create expenses. It is provided to help you organise your own money. It is not financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it is not a bank.

2. Your account

Accounts are created for you by the operator. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has accessed it. You must give accurate information and be at least 16 years old.

3. Your data and the Gmail connection

Your data is yours. You allow us to process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Connecting Gmail is optional; you can disconnect at any time. Do not connect an account you are not entitled to use.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, to access another person's data, to disrupt or probe the service, to send automated bulk requests, or to try to bypass the separation between accounts.

5. Accuracy

Amounts, merchants and dates read from emails or receipts are extracted automatically and can be wrong. Entries that look uncertain are flagged for review, but you are responsible for checking them. Do not rely on the app for payment deadlines or tax filings without checking the original documents.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. It may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and features may change. We will try to give notice of material changes.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Colato Corp is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, income or profit arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of El Salvador. [The operator should confirm the governing law and venue before publishing.]

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. Questions: gcolato@colatocorp.com.
